We embarked on a 6-day voyage of discovery from the village of Tofino into the heart of Clayoquot Sound (both on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada), where rainforest-covered mountains meet wave-swept sandy beaches and massive, massive waves from Pacific Ocean.
